Petition of Fairfield Residents against proposed Cell phone Tower on Depot Street

I the undersigned object to the US Cellular cell phone tower being built close to Whitney Monuments located near Depot and 5th Streets in Fairfield. This tower should be relocated to a more remote area that will not be near residential homes, schools and businesses. If the cell tower is not relocated I am planning to immediately cancel my US Cellular service (if a US Cellular customer).

In addition, I am also requesting that the Fairfield City Counsel revoke the existing permit for the US Cellular cell tower and require it to be relocated to a more remote area that will not be near residential homes, schools and businesses.

In addition, I am requesting the Fairfield City Council and County Board of Supervisors to pass new ordinances that will require a permit be issued for any new cell phone towers within the city or county inclusive of a community review period that limits the number of cell phone towers as well as appropriate placement, size and height restrictions.
